There's fast, silly fast, and now there's AR-fast. Felt's AR5 boasts an amazingly aerodynamic, UCI-legal carbon frame that's sure to save you valuable time on every ride and race. It features a rear wheel cutout, internal cable routing, aero carbon seatpost and seamlessly integrated bladed carbon fork all designed to put you on at the front of the pack. The specs follow suit. This aero ace is outfitted with Felt's wind-cheating Aero R3 wheels, an 11-speed Shimano 105 drivetrain and cranks for precision shifting and braking, 3T handlebar and stem, and a supportive Prologo saddle. Take fast to the next level with the AR5!
Felt's MMC (Modular Monocoque Construction) method is an advanced carbon manufacturing process that allows Felt to mold individual sections of a frame (see image above) prior to assembly. This allows each frame section to be optimized for its individual requirements before being fused together. The result is a frame with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined appearance.

Bought this baby yesterday, and took it for a 30 miles ride today. This baby is so fast and very responsive. Very little effort pedaling on a flat. Very happy. Replacement from a Roubaix Specialized. The only i can complain is the saddle, not too comfortable for a long ride.

Comments:
I purchased this bike to use as my Duathlon training bike. I've added a Fizik saddle and Mavic Cosmic Carbon 40 rims. The frame on this Felt bike is amazing. This bike allowed me to make the upgrades I wanted. I'm a huge Felt fan and ride a highly customized Felt TT bike for TT racing. Every time I ride my AR5 I have a smile on my face. Zion Cyclery is the best place to buy a bike.

- Low Weight
- Good geometry

Comments:
The bike feels good since the beginning. The shimano 105 works great, very smooth and fast. The seat and geometry allow to ride long distances comfortably. The only change I would make is the cassette to a 11-28. Aesthetically, the bike looks great

Comments:
This bike looks pretty hard-core, but ride one and you'll see it's a great all-around bike! I use mine for fast weekend rides, touring, and a daily 35-mile commute. It's quick and responsive, but also incredibly comfortable. it doesn't come with a good climbing gear, but that's easily remedied by installing a 11-28 cassette, which fits fine with the existing derailleur.
Pros
- Fast and responsive
- 105's work great
- Very light
- Needs no upgrades
Cons
- Uncomfortable Seat
Best Uses

Comments:
I went from a Specialized Allez Sport to this and it is like driving a lamborghini now. Fast and responsive. The only complaint is the seat. The front of the seat has a bump in it which pushes on your Perineum. Once I fix that this will be a bike I am goin to own for years to come. Tyler at bicycle Generation did an awesome job on finding a bike I would like and fitting me for it.
